Overwhelming Emotions

The nausea is getting worse and worse. It's constant, from when I wake up until I fall asleep. Nick and I take it as a good sign, that baby B is healthy {and sucking the life out of me hahaha} I try not to complain about how I am feeling, but nausea sucks no matter what your journey was to get pregnant. It's really tough to make it through a day at work.

I was driving into work today, about to throw up, and realized how much this feeling is totally and completely worth it. I have never felt this kind of joy and excitement. I have been happy about things in my life many times before, but this feeling is different. It's overwhelming. I have been smiling like a fool all week :) I am so looking forward to every single step of this new journey we are on. I can still barely believe this is happening for us.

I am going to be a Mom. Wow.

  1. If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know!

You are going to be an amazing Mom! Baby B doesn't know (yet) how lucky he or she is! :)

  2. I'm sorry you're so sick! And nausea and throwing up are awful no matter what the cause. Being pregnant doesn't make puking your guts up suddenly tolerable lol. It's OK to complain! Buuut.. you're right, it's such a GREAT reason for it!!!!I do hope you feel better soon though!

  3. Congrats!!! So happy to see that you finally got your BFP!! Sorry you are having so much sickness but the end of your post says it all. You are going to be a MOM. It's amazing and wonderful, and worth all the aches and pains!

  4. I agree with everything Words Like Swords said :) Morning sickness is nothing to celebrate, but the reason for it definitely is! I do hope you feel better soon though--or at least by second tri!

  5. There is nothing awesome about morning sickness, and you have every right to be excited about your pregnancy and still HATE m/s!

I'm so excited for you to tell some of your family this weekend! Let us know how it goes!
