EEEE!!! Fall is almost here :)

I love the Fall season more than anything! Pumpkin candles, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie, cooler weather, apple-picking, apple cider, apple crisp, Halloween, Thanksgiving... I could go on and on. I am giddy just thinking about it!

For the past three years, my Mom, sister and I have made a day trip to a place called Oak Glen. We pick apples & pumpkins, drink apple cider with doughnuts, and have lunch and apple pie at a local restaurant. It's become our tradition, and we are going next weekend. SO EXCITED!!!

What is your favorite thing about Fall?

  2. Me too!!! I LOVE fall *squeal*. The first sign of fall is a local annual craft/art festival and it's this weekend. Mums, pumpkins, and oh yes pumpkin spice candles are amazing. I have one I couldn't pass up from Hallmark that is just waiting to be lit.

Apple and pumpkin picking followed by warm cups of cider sounds heavenly! Have fun!!

  4. I went to Oak Glen every fall as a little girl. It is one of my favorite memories. I haven't been in years, but I remember how much fun we had.

This is going to be my first real fall...as in not in so. cal, 75 and sunny, so I'm excited to see what it's like!

  5. I'm glad to see someone else is on the "I love Fall" wagon too. :) I cheated on apple picking this year, and just bought the already picked apples at the orchard... but it still made for my first delicious apple pie of pie making season! ;) I'd have to say that my fave thing about fall is Thanksgiving. (I'm in Canada, so our TG is in October) :)

  6. Oh wow, that Oak Glen place looks awesome! I wish we had something like that around me! What a great tradition! I'm SUPER excited for the fall leaves turning here in Colorado. The Aspen trees in the mountains are sooooo beautiful! The hubby and I always take an annual fall drive into the mountains to eat carmel apples and take pictures of the leaves. So excited for fall!
